Puppies are released to their new homes at 10-14 weeks of age when its determined appropriate and can be different for each puppy/litter, size generally being the main concern

Taking your new puppy home
Even keeping the puppies until 10-14 weeks of age I still worry about each and every one as they are still so small and fragile!
Make sure you have a safe place in your home for your puppy to play. We use baby gates, exercise pens, crates etc. These items are also helpful with housetraining. If your puppy is freely playing be sure to be very aware of where he/she is every moment as they dont move out of the way of feet, can get under recliners, and dash out the door all can result in injury or worse. Its best to contain your puppy in one room or a smaller area of the house, and with a pee pad until housetrained
